Grade 8: Sports Meet Results Revealed!
The annual Sports Meet has mainly focused on track and field in previous years. This year, however, it was not only about sports, but also about carnival games! The results can now be revealed!
The first prize went to 8(1) with their impressive performance throughout the Sports Meet. Right behind them was 8(9) in second place and 8(11) in third. That’s not all: the announcements also covered the coveted laser shooting awards with 8(2) claiming the top spot, class 8(9) taking a close second, and 8(11) being awarded with third. Apart from that, students were also encouraged to attend other carnival activities such as darts, badminton, and baseball. Each participant received a stamp for every different event they attended. The three classes that collected the most stamps were 8(8), 8(12), and 8(11).
In conclusion, the Sports Meet is not only about track and field, it’s also about having fun and learning about sportsmanship. Through these activities, the students learned a lot and accomplished substantial achievements. One student summarized their thoughts as, “I appreciate the opportunities and resources the school provides us with. We were able to talk to Olympic champions face-to-face. I felt the spirit of the Olympic champions: “Explore the limitations of your body and mind. Never give up!”
