Puxi Campus G7: Here Come the Badges!
As we approach the first half of the semester, 7th graders of SHSID harvest shiny badgesthatrepresenttheir outstanding achievements in fourdifferentcapabilities: academic, conduct, activitiesand sports. This brand-new reward scheme bringseven moreenergy to school life.
These well-designed and graphic badges not only attract students, but also express teacher’s encouragement and praise for their small steps of progress. For example, “thousands whys” inspires students who ask good questions in class; “overtaking” encourages students who show impressive progress; “versatile” and “strong” affirm the value of talent for music and sports. All these types of different badges that involve personal growth and development make sure that we can see the best in every student.
In 7th grade, the badges determine who can be the star of the month and have the opportunity to be surprised by teachers! Congratulations to Grace, Gavin, Claire, Richard, and 14 other students who each received a monthly star for October!
The badges are also about class honor for 7th grade. The sum of badges contributes to a class’s success in class competitions. This makes students consider how they can do better.
We hope that these meaningful badges can really motivate our students in their study life.
