2020 Principal Round Table Meeting with Foreign Teachers

At 13:00 on October 16th, 2020, the Round Table Meeting for foreign teachers of SHSID was held in the conference room on the second floor of Yi Fu Building. Mr. Ma Feng, High School Principal of SHSID, and Mr. Liu Lian, Middle and Primary School Principal of SHSID, attended the meeting with some of the foreign teachers. The meeting was moderated by Ms. Hu Bo, the Coordinator of the Foreign Affairs Office. Ms. Hu gave a brief introduction of the long history of Shanghai High School and the school’s future plans in terms of hardware and software. Afterwards, Principal Ma Feng and Principal Liu Lian mentioned that the school’s infrastructure and the renovation of the Smart Campus are aimed at creating a better teaching and learning environment for both teachers and students. The key to a good teaching environment lies in the teaching ability of the teachers themselves, and we hope that all teachers can complement each other’s soft power and the school’s hard power as they work together to build a better school. Foreign teachers who participated in the meeting communicated with each other about their teaching work. Foreign teachers are an important part of SHSID, and this activity enhanced their understanding of the school’s history and future development. In addition, it further promoted their thinking towards future professional development.
