Puxi Campus Grade 1: Exciting Science During Sports Week!

Our timetable was action-packed for science this week. We kicked off the week by watching all of our clever engineers share their final design process models. The students were asked to create a structure that was either very tall and safe or a structure that was strong enough to hold their textbooks. They could only use paper and tape! We saw some incredibly clever and genius designs and some were even strong enough to hold a student!

For our second class, students were looking at the difference between living and nonliving things. To do this, we had some new friends visit our classroom: worms! The students observed the difference between earth worms and some gummy worms. I hope they didn’t mix them up!
