In addition, the presenter offered an insight into its academic excellence in areas such as sports management as well as the actuary major. The basketball team of UConn with the aid of sports management major has won multiple honors in NCAA basketball tournaments and introduced various famous players into the WNBA. Academic excellence in the actuary major was built upon the steady insurance industry that built the foundation of the state of Connecticut. Besides its academic excellence, the campus is also well known for its low student-to-faculty ratio, the assisted security within the campus, and the campus climate that consists of various student associations, clubs, fraternities, and sororities.
