High School Physics Department: Project Exhibition

October 14, 2020

On October 12th, 3D solar system models made by 10th graders were exhibited in the lobby of the Zhentao Building. Students have been learning planetary motion in physics class since the beginning of this semester. Not only did they gain a lot of physics knowledge about planetary motion, but they also showed great interest and passion in cosmology.

After researching on the features, sizes, and orbits of all the planets in our solar system, students used different types of material to model the real system. Kaiwen, a student from 10(2), with his partner, even applied 3D printing technology to make the planets’ position adjustable.

The exhibition has been attracting many students and teachers. We hope students can experience more fun in learning physics.
