Grade 12: Charity Donations to Warm the World — MFP Club Donated Anti-Pandemic Masks

During the most severe local outbreak of the coronavirus in February this year, members from the MFP Club helped and collected 1,000 pieces of masks through overseas procurement. On behalf of the club, Kingsley and Sharon sent the protective face masks to the Shanghai Children's Medical Center (SCMC), sending the club's sincerest greetings and heartfelt thanks to the medical staff who were helping to fight against the pandemic. On the afternoon of September 30th, Kingsley, Barbie, Sharon, Connie, and Claire sent the second batch of 1,000 protective face masks donated by the MFP Club.

Kingsley, the founder and chairman of MFP Club, delivered a speech at the donation ceremony. He said that although the epidemic has entered a stable stage, we must not take it lightly. We still need to keep a high level of vigilance and maintain necessary protective measures to prevent the resurgence of the pandemic. With this donation, the members of the club hope to remind once again of all the medical staff to take good care of themselve.

Dr. Ji Qingying, the secretary of theSCMC PartyCommittee, Ms. Chen Yuting, the Director of theSCMC Social Work Department, and Ms. Cao Qing received the donation on behalf of SCMC. Dr. Ji expressed her sincere thanks to the MFP Club for their continuous support and care. Dr. Ji said, the MFP Club has brought a lot of warmth and love to SCMC. The timely donation of masks has alleviated the pressure of material stress, conveyed positive energy, and encouraged the hospital's medical staff to strengthen their determination and courage to fight against the virus. In addition to COVID-19, there are many respiratory viruses that are relatively active in the fall and winter seasons. Dr. Ji said that the donation is very meaningful, not only reminding them to protect themselves, but also conveying support and encouragement for the work of medical staff.

Coronavirus continues to plague the world. We must pay utmost attention to personal hygiene and maintain good living habits to prevent and control the pandemic. May the world have a speedy recovery soon.
