Pudong Campus Grades 1–3: Music is All Around Us

AtSHSID, studentsneverlackopportunities to show their talents.Startingfrom weekfour, wehavebegundoing“SnackTimeConcerts” duringsnack time every dayonPudong Campus.

Students from grade one to grade three are all encouraged to sign up and participate in this daily activity. Although it’s not a big and fancy stage like is used for art festivals, students still gave their best efforts towards preparation and performances while playing the instrument they like. When a little performer is playing, the entire audience politely listens quietly to him/her, thereby showing good manners while listening. When at last the music has finished, a big round of applause erupts into the air.

This small yet precious opportunity prepares our students to be more skillful presenters and to explore their artistic skills. Additionally, this opportunity has the added benefit of filling the whole campus with beautiful melodies.
