Pudong Campus Grades 4–5:Fun with Arts and Crafts for the Upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival

September 29, 2020

The Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner, and all the 4th and 5th graders of Pudong campus celebrated the festival with a retrospective during their P&B classes on September 29th . Our teachers and students looked back to the origins of Mid-Autumn Festival and discussed the customs which are still prevalent nowadays. While discussing, the internet-famous mooncakes became the focus of everyone’s attention. After the discussion, we began our main mission: making rabbit lanterns. With intuitive cutting and painting skills, everyone created their own delicate rabbit lanterns. We’ll all hang them up and wish for a prosperous new year. From the activity, we not only acquired some new craft skills, but we also got to learn more about our traditional culture as well.

We wish everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
