Puxi Campus Grade One: Becoming Engineers!—Fun Science Classes

Our students have become engineers this week! By utilizing the design process, students were able to come up with solutions to problems that they were faced with. First, they were asked to design a boat that would carry a family safely across water. The students put their thinking caps on and devised plans for a safe and reliable boat. The students then tested their boats using aluminium foil and coins. Some were able to float while others sank, but that’s okay! We just had to go back and redesign the boats that sank. Students were then asked to design a fast and efficient aeroplane. Again, using the design process, students were able to design and build incredible machines. We have very clever students!
