Grades 7&8: Sports Meet Preliminary Round

In the first semester of every school year, the Sports Meet is always something that students, teachers, directors, and parents eagerly anticipate. The 2020-2021 School Year’s Sports Meet will take place in Week 7. The preliminary round was held on September 14th during P.E. class. The students from Grade 7 and Grade 8 who signed up for the 100 meter and 800 meter competitions participated. For each grade, there were approximately twenty boys and twenty girls that signed up for the 100 meter dash while a dozen boys and a dozen girls signed up for the 800 meter race.

In addition to the preliminary rounds of the running events, the high jump had its final round. The final result for each event will be announced after the Sports Meet.

Only the top eight individuals in each event will advance into the final round, which will take place on the day of the Sports Meet; prizes for each student will vary based upon the outcomes. Students who signed up for an event will all work hard and strive to advance into the final round. Good luck to everyone attending the Sports Meet!
