Grade 11: Assembly

On September 10th, 11th graders had the first Thursday morning Assembly in the Auditorium in Xianmian Building.

After everyone settled down, the head teacher, Ms. Yu Zhen, started her address by inforrming students of the general rules. Due to COVID-19, students should wear their masks and maintain social distance. Furthermore, every student needs to get accustomed to his/her studies in the chosen curriculum, be it either IB, AP, A-Level, or School Course.

Before the first period of class started, the Assembly continued with the awards ceremony. Ms. Yu Zhen presented awards to the project leaders of the 2020 SHSID Sophomore Projects for High Achievement, Superlative Achievement, and Outstanding Presentation. Subsequently, awards for the 2019 Excellent PA Leaders and 2019 AcademicAchievementwere announced. Last but not least, two students won the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.

By taking thisAssembly, we hope that students can be inspired and make the most out of this semester.
