Middle School Professional Development

Middle School Professional Development took place on August 19thand 20th and was focused around classroom management and cross-curricular instruction. Teachers worked together to discuss ideas and share teaching strategies. On the first day, the sessions focused on classroom management. This was especially useful for the new teachers who attended! There were also English, History, and Geography meetings led by the deputy subject heads.

On the second day, there were even more sessions to choose from! The vice grade heads led a special session for new teachers, while returning teachers focused on vertical alignment. Everyone had a chance to collaborate and build on the progress they had made the day before. By the end of the day, all teachers agreed that professional development was both successful and enjoyable!
