​SHSID Students Achieved Great Results in the NEC 2020 Final Competition

On June 26th, during the Dragon Boat Festival Holiday, 32 SHSID students attended the final competition of the National Economic Challenge (NEC). Due to the impacts of COVID-19, this year’s national final competition was held online. The students formed eight teams and attended the final competition at both AS and DR levels. Finally, they won numerous awards, including the Team Golden Award for both AS and DR level, the Team Silver Award for both AS and DR level, the Team Golden Award of Creativity, Hall of Fame for Personal Full Score, etc.

The National Economic Challenge is an international economic competition. Started in the U. S., it has a 20-year history. Five years ago, this competition was introduced into China. During the 2019-2020 school year, more than 1,500 high school students in grades 9-12 attended the national final competition. The teams ranking in the top 2% got the Team Golden Awards and those ranking in the top 1% of all individuals got the Personal Golden Awards. Congratulations to all the students!
