Grade 7: USAP Competition Awarding

The curtain falls on the 2020 USAP competition alongside the clicking of the camera. SHSID’s two seventh grade groups received the gold and silver awards respectively. The glorious trophy was held high by all group members, reflecting their unflagging perseverance and hard work. No student can earn such a trophy without strong teammates.

Contenders also received individual medals representing other honors. Perhaps some were discouraged by the backdrop of a tenuous situation during the competition and perhaps some were dismayed that the global finals were cancelled due to the coronavirus. Nevertheless, all students were sanguine on camera, smiling as radiantly as the trophy itself. It is certain that every member endeavored wholeheartedly.

SHSID eighth graders will stage a comeback next year for USAP 2021. They will compete in a different arena, abiding with stoic determination.
