High School Math Department: Pi-Day Projects Exhibition

Since June 2, excellent Pi-day origami projects have been exhibited in the Xian Mian Building and the Zhen Tao Building.

The theme of this project was "Origami and Mathematics," which aimed to let students learn the art of origami and explore the mathematical rules in origami. In addition to submitting origami pieces, students also needed to record the videos of the folding process and write essays. Through this project, many students started to appreciate origami and develop a further understanding of Origamics. After returning to school, students of all grades submitted their work. Among these, excellent origami pieces from Grade 11 are displayed on the second floor of the Xian Mian Building, and those from Grades 9-10 are displayed in the lobby of the Zhen Tao Building. We welcome all students and teachers to have a look at the mini exhibition.
