Grade 9: A Make-up Birthday Party
Every month, homeroom teachers from Grade 9 prepare a birthday party for students whose birthday is in that month. During lunch break, the class will gather up in the resting area of third floor and enjoy the cakes, drinks and gifts the teachers prepare for them. They will also take photos together with their friends. However, due to the epidemic, the parties had been cancelled since February. So, when the school finally opened up again, the teachers prepared a make-up party for them at the end of May. Although there were no cakes or snacks, the students still got nice gifts and took pictures with their friends. They were all thankful for the party. Even though it was only a small event, it did help bond students together, making everyone feel that he/she is part of the larger SHSID community.
