Music Group: Soloists and the Ensemble of Shanghai High School Wind Ensemble Won the First Prize in the Xuhui District Art Competition

In the 2019 Xuhui District Student Art Competition, sponsored by the Education Bureau, SHSID’s Saxophone Quartet, Bass Brass Quintet, Percussion Trio, Vibraphone Solo and the Shanghai High School wind ensemble were selected as winners of excellent prizes.

Among them:

1. The Saxophone Quartet’s performance of "Funk" won the first prize in the ensemble group

2. The Bass Brass Quintet’s performance of "Trombumba" won the second prize in the ensemble group

3. Vibraphone solo's performance of "La Vide Es Un Carnaval" won the first prize in the junior percussion group

4. Percussion Trio’s performance of “Fusion Mallets” won the first prize in the high school percussion competition
