Grade 7: Midterm Star Students Awarding

November 28, 2019

During lunch time on Nov. 25, grade seven had an award ceremony for the midterm star students. All the star students from each class gathered in Room 413, and everyone looked very excited.

When the awarding process started, the Study Star, Behavior Star, Service Star, Progress Star, and Sports Star were individually announced by the teachers. Last month, the Study Star, Behavior Star, Service Star, and Reading Star were awarded; but this month, instead of the Reading Star, the Sports Star and the Progress Star were awarded. The Sports Stars were awarded to the students who did the best in the Sports Meet and the “Sports Week” that was held a few weeks ago. For example, there were students who got three to four gold medals in the Sports Meet, and students that helped and participated in the sport games. The Progress Stars were awarded to the students who made the biggest progress from the first monthly to the midterm. For example, some of the students improved on their grades, and some improved on their behavior.

After every award was rewarded, the students got to pick their own prizes and take pictures. Every student looked proud of themselves and very happy. The teachers were also proud of their students, and everyone had a big grin on their faces. The awarding ceremony ended successfully and with joy.
