Grade 7: 1st Monthly Star Awarding Ceremony

At noon on October 25th, in Room 413 of the New Art Building, seventh grade held the first Monthly Star awarding ceremony of the school year. Ms. Shirley, Ms. Du, Ms. Zhu, and Ms. Gao attended the awarding ceremony. Awards were given out to the Study Stars: Angela Jiang 7(1), Angela Duan 7(2), Samantha 7(3), Jason 7(4), Corrine 7(5), Minhan 7(6), Ivy 7(7), Olivia 7(8), Evelyn 7(9), Sophia 7(10), and Elaine 7(11). Each student was greeted with warm applause and encouraging smiles, and they were all very proud and happy to receive their awards.

Next, eleven students were awarded the Behavior Stars: Eric 7(1), Ashlyn 7(2), Claudia 7(3), Joy 7(4), Sara 7(5), Sean 7(6), Shirley 7(7), Michelle 7(8), Fiona 7(9), Seazen 7(10), and Hanwen 7(11). Each student also received a small, unique reward.

Then, the Reading Stars were presented: Gloria 7(1), Chazz 7(2), Chloe 7(3), Emily 7(4), Rita 7(5), Barbie 7(6), Liam 7(7), Tim 7(8), Steve 7(9), Cana 7(10), and Katrina 7(11). We hope that students will read more books and learn from the Reading Stars.

Finally, the hardworking Service Stars were presented: Bruce 7(1), Rebecca 7(2), Priscilla 7(3), Ethan 7(4), Reading 7(5), Yoning 7(6), Darren 7(7), Cecelia 7(8), Benjamin 7(9), Audrey 7(10), and Chinchin 7(11). These students have always made tremendous effort to contribute to their class’s success.

Congratulations to all the student awardees! Good luck to all of grade seven; we hope that everyone is encouraged and motivated to make progress and strive towards earning awards in the future.
