Primary School Subjects Department: My Habitat Diorama

In Grade 1 Science this semester, the teachers have been exploring the six main animal groups, the delicate balance of food chains and the flow of energy within them, as well as the habitats these magnificent animals and plants reside in.

The caring students took a hands-on approach in designing a habitat diorama based on the habitats discussed during the lessons. The students created their habitats to show the interaction of plants and animals best suited for these environments. Then they prepared a presentation, practiced at home, and finally delivered a presentation explaining their habitats to the entire class.

These results were heartfelt, inspiring, educational, and reflect the important values that this growing generation is upholding.
