Grade 5: Storytelling Competition

On the 23rd and 24th of October, the fifth grade students participated in a storytelling competition in English class, and every student was very excited.

Before the storytelling competition, all the students in the fifth grade wrote a story and edited their manuscripts with teacher’s help. The students practiced a lot at home and tried their best to memorize the story. The rules of the competition were very interesting: students must recite the story and then interpret the story in a vivid way.

During the competition, there were a variety of interesting stories, including fairy tales, explanations, and some real-life events. The students enjoyed both telling the stories and listening to them. This storytelling competition not only encouraged students to write stories with imagination but also cultivated their ability to tell and interpret stories.
