G7:Basketball Shooting Competition

October 21, 2019

The seventh grade students gathered at the big basketball court to participate in the basketball shooting competition. The basketballs were provided by individual classes and one court was assigned to each class.

7(1) won the competition; they had a few boys shooting while a few were playing with Kendamas on the side of the court. 7(2) started recording early, and they came in one by one, and so on. The classes all tried their best, and the results were obvious.

The basketball team was scattered among the classes, like Wesley Yu from 7(7), who was getting the rebound to give the ball back to the shooter, and Jeffery from 7(6), who repeatedly shot and scored.

After the competition, the seventh grade went back to their homerooms and watched movies. Each homeroom got a box of Cornetto ice-cream to eat. However, some students got dragged behind and came back late. So, they did not get to watch movies, like 7(6).

Classes came in first, second, and third, and everyone had a great time. Players shot while teachers inspected the detailed movements, continuously suggesting improvements. Overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon of sports for the seventh grade.
