Grade 5: Sports Week

The seventh week of the semester is sports week at SHSID, and the fifth-grade students have been looking forward to it for a long time. Although their sports meet was unfortunately cancelled due to the flu, the fifth-grade students still celebrated by following the sports week dress code and encompassing the daily spirit.

Monday was sports hat day, and every student wore his or her sports cap. The spirit of Monday was “just keep moving”. On Tuesday, the spirit was “play like champions”, and all the fifth-grade students wore their orange school T-shirt. On Wednesday, students dressed up in sports socks in the spirit of “check out our spectacular sports”. Some students wore brightly colored socks; some wore socks with themes such as Disney and Marvel. Thursday was jersey day, which reflected the spirit: “teamwork makes the dream work”.
