Grade 12: 2020 SHSID Oath of Integrity Ceremony

On the morning of October 11, 2019, Grade 12 students attended the 2020 Oath of Integrity Ceremony in the Annex Auditorium.

Ms. Gu Ying, High School Grade 12 Supervisor, hosted the ceremony. Additional attendees included Director of Student Affairs Center, Ms. Liu Qin, IB/AP Coordinator Ms. Jiang Hao, college counselor Mr. Adam Nikolich, homeroom teachers, and the parents’ representatives.

At 8:15 AM sharp, students and teachers settled down for the commencement of the solemn event, which directly affects the students’ higher education prospects and, more importantly, their growth as individuals as they step into the real world. Three students were invited on stage to give an overview of SHSID’s core academic integrity policies.

The ceremony was concluded with a collective reading of the pledge of integrity; the entire senior class read aloud the pledge and committed to act according to it. By taking the oath, students dedicated themselves to honesty and good character in the various endeavors they will undertake in high school and beyond.
