Puxi Grade 2: Excellent Engineers!

This month, in second grade science, we learned about engineering. We used an engineering design process to complete projects such as storing our art supplies, making a toy car move and designing a safety helmet for an egg!

We had a lot of fun brainstorming ideas and choosing materials. Next, we planned our designs and tested them out. If they didn’t work, we weren’t upset! We have a growth mindset and aim to learn from our mistakes. So, after our initial test, we re-designed our tools to make them even better! In the final step of the design process, we communicated our results to others and shared all of our cool designs with our friends and family.
