Grade1-3: Fire Drill

Safety is always our top priority. During the Month of Safety this September, the Primary Section of SHSID has been working on safety education and actively organizing various activities. These have included studying safety rules and making comics on safety. This was done in order to increase the students' knowledge and enhance their awareness of safety in life. As an important part of this theme, the fire drill took place in the Primary Section on September 25th.

During the Personal Growth class in the afternoon, all of the G1 to G3 students and teachers of SHSID participated in the first fire drill of this school year. At 14:35, smoke permeated the hallway as the fire alarm went off. Under the guidance and assistance of homeroom teachers, all students were safely and quickly evacuated through the designated fire evacuation passages with their mouths and noses covered. The homeroom teachers checked and accounted for every pupil at their assigned meeting point. The whole process lasted only one minute and thirty seconds and was carried out with huge success.

Through the fire drill, all teachers and students have further improved their safety awareness in the event of a fire emergency. SHSID will continue to build a safe environment for students to learn and grow!
