Grade 4-5: Parents' Meeting

On September 24^thand 26^th, fourth and fifth grade held the first Parents’ Meeting of the semester.

The Parents’ Meeting was divided into three parts. Firstly, Ms. Zhu Dan, the Director of grades four and five, gave a speech to encourage students to achieve new goals in physical, cognitive, social and emotional development by embracing recent changes, learning from past failures and praising enduring effort. Then Ms. Lu Luting, the head of fourth grade, gave a brief overview of the different expectations from third grade, as well as some policies, core values and ASB. Ms. Zhuo, the director of fifth grade gave a brief introduction of the present situation and expected standards of fifth grade. Afterwards, the head of subject teachers gave an overview of each subject, covering the content students will cover this semester, how students can learn effectively, and how students will be evaluated.

Effective communication between students’ home and school has always played an important role in child development. We hope that our parents will increase their understanding of our school and build more confidence in our teachers, and thus cultivate their children’s development in a more effective way and create a more beneficial learning environment.
