Grade 1-3: Successful Primary Assembly

Once every two weeks there is an assembly for all the primary students at SHSID’s Puxi Campus. The director of the primary section, Ms. Zhang, hosts the assembly to commend and encourage all the weekly stars, sport stars, and monthly stars.

Beyond this, there is a different character and moral education topic for every assembly. Every class is invited to speak in front of the audience about that weekly topic. During the assembly on September 16th, the class representatives and teachers of class 1(1) spoke about campus safety with a meaningful and interesting video created by the class. During the assembly on September 23rd, Dr. Quan, the head of school clinic, was invited to the assembly and gave the primary students a speech on how we can prevent infectious disease. We believe that everyone in attendance has benefited a lot from these speeches.

The primary assembly at Puxi Campus will continue to further develop character and moral education, as well as provide encouragement and praise for all the primary students. So far, all of the primary students have gained valuable information from the assemblies and will continue to grow from these learning experiences.
