Middle School Chinese Department: Excellent Chinese summer homework exhibition

As the students were adapting to the new semester, their summer homework was carefully selected to be showcased by the teachers. The topics were “a happy travel,” “a good old story,” and “a touching and famous book.” One-by-one, the projects gathered attention by passersby in the hallway. The hall’s newest decorations have intrigued students and teachers alike, brightening their days.

The project stems from the meticulous design of the middle school teachers. The teachers arranged the newly famous masterpieces in relation to the middle school Chinese curriculum, and generally selected the ones they thought the students and other hallway denizens would enjoy. In addition, the essay contest “I Live in Shanghai” let the students combine the things they love about Shanghai with a chance to voice their opinions.

A good summer program should improve the quality of the next school year. We also hope that this group of children will enjoy Chinese language and culture more, as well as achieve higher heights in their upcoming school year.
