Pudong Grade 2 & 3: A Letter for YOU

September 23, 2019

Children who grew up in the Internet Era have long been used to transmitting information by mobile phones or other electronic devices. During the lunch recess of September 20th, grade two students from Pudong campus received a special gift—a handwritten letter!

The handwriting on these letters might have been a little hard to read, but the words and phrases reveal the sincere feelings of the writer. That’s because these letters were written by the current third-grade students on their last day of second grade. They used their most authentic feelings to share their unique and valuable experiences. For example, one student shared that her favorite books were hidden at the bottom shelves of the second row of the library; one shared that if you want to be well-liked, you have to learn to care about others first; another shared that second-grade homework is not difficult at all and that there are many games to play in class. On Friday, grade three students came into the second-grade classrooms and shared all of their true experiences by reading the letters to the second graders. The second graders were delighted and listened very carefully.

With the guidance of the “old second graders”, the new second graders, who had just received their letters, are looking forward to everything in their new school year!
