Grade 6 - Science Lecture

On September 19th, Professor Yang Zhigen from the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the International Astronomical Union (IAU), and the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a scientific lecture on the nature of black holes to Grade 6.

Professor Yang discussed various aspects of of black holes in an easy-to-understand way. During the Q&A session, students raised a lot of interesting questions: “Can black holes disappear? Can black holes explode? Why do black holes rotate?”

The questions and subsequent responses from Professor Yang stirred everyone's curiosity and strengthened their enthusiasm to learn more about this mysterious astronomical phenomenon.
