Grade 9: Parents Meeting

To help parents better understand the high school curriculum, especially in the ninth grade, the SHSID Ninth-Grade Parents Meeting was held in the Xianmian Building Annex Auditorium on September 6th. To begin, Principal Ma Feng shared a lot of "dry goods" and won a lot of applause from the parents. Then, Vice Principal Liu Min gave a general overview of the high school curriculum, the main arrangements and resources for the ninth grade, and the teaching management standards. Finally, Ms. Chen Qin, head of the TA office, detailed the activities and resources of the TA office—especially the PA project, which is a unique feature of the high school. Mr. Mathew Pardy then explained the student growth plan to the parents. After the auditorium session, parents entered the classrooms in the Zhentao Building to listen to teachers from various subjects. In addition, all the homeroom teachers also participated in the parents' Q&A session. The parents meeting enabled parents to have a more comprehensive understanding of their children's high school experience and became the perfect ending for the ninth grade High School Life Guidance Course Series.
