Grade 11: MFP Club Received Donation for Charity Activities

“A sudden and unexpected look into the art genre” was the phrase used to characterize the MFP Club’s core members’ journey today. The MFP Club was honored to receive a charity donation from a prestigious art organization to support the club’s persisting charity activities, which have helped different communities.

On September 8th, 2019, core members of the MFP Club—Kingsley, Barbie, Jonathan, Grace, Sharon, Connie, and Antony—visited the “Artgogo” headquarters, which was established by Mr. Timothy Chi-Tai Cao, a famous writer and TV program host in China. Mr. Cao is also very passionate in supporting many charity functions and activities. He highly commended the MFP Club’s accomplishments over the past few years.

The members presented the club’s mission, goal, and objectives to Mr. Cao and Mr. Cao, after introducing the facilities and goals of “Artgogo,” showed the members how they created “Start-up Art Classroom” in an aim to “open the door of art” for rural children in a poor village. “Small corners need more color,” Mr. Cao strongly believed and said so, appealing to the members' common interests. With the same idea of charity, the meeting was full of lively interaction and lasted for nearly two hours.

On behalf of the MFP Club, Kingsley presented a certificate of thanks to “Artgogo”. By firmly adhering to the common belief that "Love is a reward of love," the members resolved to follow the aim and purpose of the MFP Club and continue their efforts in contributing to a harmonious society with their charity musical performances.
