Pudong Grade 3-5: Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival

September 10, 2019

The Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner and all Pudong Campus students from Grades 3 to 5 participated in a P&B class to celebrate the festival. This time the way of celebration got quite retrospective. On September 10th, the teachers and students traced the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and discussed the customs that still prevail today, such as famous mooncakes. Right after the discussion, the students began to work on their mission: the “Tuan yuan” (reunion) handcraft. With intuitive cutting and painting skills, everyone created his or her own delicate craft to hang up and wish for a prosperous new year. During the activity, the students not only acquired some new craft skills, but got to know more about the traditional culture.

Pudong Campus wishes everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.
