Grade 12: Senior Orientation -- Day 2

September 4, 2019

On day 2 of the orientation camp, the seniors welcomed a new day full of challenging yet exciting activities. After finishing breakfast and collecting their tents, the students assembled on the central grassland for the altitude challenge, during which the students had to get through a 5 meters long narrow passage in the air. Everyone was enthusiastic and full of team spirit; many students helped other teammates with a fear of heights to complete the task. Concurrently, another group of students participated in water sports to cool down and boost team cooperation between all group members.

After lunch, students welcomed the most difficult challenge of the senior orientation: the 13 km hike. Though the students were already exhausted, they accomplished the task through resilience and teamwork.

To conclude these two days of activities, students evaluated each other and reflected on their contributions to the team. After their reflections, the students saw these two days of adventure as an experience that helped them discover themselves and keep up good morale.
