Music Group: SHSID Children's Choir Performed at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center with Paris Boys' Choir

On the evening of June 1st, 2019, SHSID Children's Choir, at the invitation of "la philharmonic", the Chinese sponsor of the Paris Boys' Choir, stepped onto the stage of Shanghai Oriental Art Center to sing “The Hymn of Spring” with Paris Boys' Choir.

Founded in 1906, Paris Wood Cross Boys' Choir is listed as one of the “Top Three World Children's Choirs,” along with Vienna Boys' Choir and Tolce Children's Choir of Germany, and is known as the "little angel of peace". This choir features high difficulty ‘A cappella’ singing, which sounds as clear as pure silence and as beautiful as nature.

Before the Concert, SHSID Children's Choir arrived at Shanghai Oriental Art Center early. During the rehearsal, they had the honor of listening to the personal guidance of the artistic director of Paris Boys’ Choir and tried to sing without accompaniment for the first time.

In less than two years, SHSID Children's Choir has developed rapidly. Under the careful guidance of their teachers, the students have made great progress. By consistently performing at events such as Open Day, the Art Festival, Vocal Art Performance, the Shanghai Botanical Garden International Flower Show Performance, the Closing Ceremony of the National Physics Competition for Middle School Students, and even today's concert, the children have gathered a wealth of experience and confidence. Parents remarked, "This opportunity is precious! They spent their most memorable Children's Day on an international stage—a wonderful gift for them!"

We hope the children will have bright futures and grow up in the sunshine of art!
