Pudong Grade 4: Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival

In a delightful mood, 4th grader teachers and students at SHSID Pudong campus celebrated the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival together on the afternoon of May 28th. In the P&B class, students learned about Qu Yuan and the interesting customs surrounding the Dragon Boat Festival. These included eating Zongzi, the traditional food for the Dragon Boat Festival and the Dragon Boat Race. In the Q&A competition section, students participated actively. In a heated discussion, they asked creative and thought-provoking questions. Among all the celebration activities, the most intriguing was designing hanging Zongzi decorations; the students showed amazing imagination and drew cute, amusing rice dumplings. Students and teachers celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival in a cheerful atmosphere.
