Pudong Grade 1: Never Stop Spreading Love

Sharing one’s caring is always something we want to teach to our students. On May 17th, 2019, grade one students at SHSID’s Pudong Campus attended their second Charity Fair event this school year. This time, our students were more experienced and got fully prepared. For example, several days before the Charity Fair, students as well as their parents were still busy making huge posters to attract customers. Students sold what they love and were glad to share with other classmates. Some students brought organic vegetables that their families planted, others brought DIY candies for fun and creativity. Countless numbers of people stopped at grade one’s table to donate their token in appreciation. While our students were wandering around and searching for another great bargain, they always remembered to sell the items in their shop: giving generously. Through the Charity Fair, grade one students learned to share sympathy and use their own efforts to make the world a better place.
