Puxi Grades 3-4:Open Day

On May 17th, the third and fourth grades at Puxi Campus held their annual Open Day. On Open Day, students’ parents are invited to the school to observe what a day of school is like for the students every day.

During class time, the parents sat in chairs around the classroom and were immersed in the learning atmosphere their children experience every day at school. Moreover, the parents were able to see how their child performs in the lessons and interacts with the teachers. This year, there were 4 periods for Grade 3 and 4 including Chinese, Science, Math and English.

After experiencing these classes, Ms. Elizabeth Hayden, the head of primary English, interpreted the MAP test for the parents, and Mr. Shen, the director of grade 5 and 6, shared how students can adapt to middle school life.

Thanks to Open Day, the parents were able to see much more about their children’s school lives and learn how to provide stronger support to their children.
