Pudong Campus: Participation, Contribution, Care and Love
On the afternoon of May 16th, 2019, our great Charity Fair was held at Pudong Campus of SHSID. All of our students made preparations for this event and were ready to actively participate in this activity.
When the Charity Fair began, the atmosphere of happiness could be felt everywhere. After all the stalls were set up, our students worked in groups and tried their best to raise the most amount of money for charity. Each stall was elaborately decorated and was crowded with students and parents. Students and parents prepared various items to sell such as stationary, books, toys, handicrafts and homemade delicacies. During this fair, more students were active in selling goods and enjoyed buying goods from others as well. They also enhanced their communicational skills and cooperated well with others in their groups. Lower graders were eager to learn how to sell more goods with their parents, while higher graders walked around to promote the sale of their products. The attractive posters were placed in order near the stalls, which had successfully attracted the customers’ eyes. Our teachers were also fully engaged in purchasing students’ goods to support the event. The most exciting part was our pie-throwing event. Students were allowed to throw a pie on a teacher’s face, which was known as a special way to raise more money. This brought the Charity Fair to a climax with excitement all around.
All the money collected in the Charity Fair will be donated to Shanghai Healing Home and Shanghai Zhanyi Children Develop Intelligence Center. Through this activity, all of the students directly felt the importance of helping others. We believe that the Charity Fair brings warmth to people and fills the whole campus with love and care.
