Pudong Grade 5: Helping, Healing and Caring

The long anticipated 2019 Pudong Charity Fair was held on May 16th. All of our students brought their favorite toys, stationery, handcrafts, and home-made food; many parents also joined in to work with their kids. The best part of our Charity Fair was absolutely the “Pie in the Face” activity. Students bought tickets to vote for which of their favorite teachers would be “pied”. Then, a few lucky students had a chance to throw pies, prepared by the ASB, in the faces of the teachers with the most votes. Every year, this activity raises the most money. All of the money raised will be donated to the Healing Home and Shanghai Zhanyi Children Develop Intelligence Center. Through this activity, students learned to give love and care.
