Pudong Grade 1: Compli-Mat

Students should always treat their friends and those around them with care and love. On May 6th, grade one students at SHSID Pudong campus had a short lesson featuring the “Complimat”. The Complimat is a mat sized paper where students can write complimentary words for their classmates. Before they actually did this, the teachers prepared a short lesson on how compliments could change a person and make their day. Compliment vocabulary was also provided for the students to choose from. Students then took a gallery walk to write beautiful sentences for others while nice music filled the room. After this short lesson, we hope the students will contribute to a better class atmosphere and develop optimistic personalities.
