First Graders Celebrated Mother’s Day

In the Personal Growth Class on May 9, the first graders made something special for their mothers. Some students made a Mother’s Day Card called “Mother’s Umbrella”. Inside the card, a lovely umbrella was made with a cupcake wrapper. Students also drew many other cute patterns such as heart, clouds, and flowers to decorate their cards. A mother’s love is just like a big umbrella on a rainy day, protecting and sheltering us. Other students made photo stands with their own photos inside as a gift for their mothers. All the students will hide their cards until the morning of day 12—Mother’s Day. We hope the mothers will enjoy the cards as much as the children enjoyed making them!
