High School Math Department: 3rd IB Math Seminar of the Semester

On May 9th, the 3rd IB Math seminar of the semester was conducted by Ms. Wu Chen in XM105. First, the difference between the new and the old syllabi was introduced by Ms. Wu. Then, every attendee actively participated in the discussion about the teaching and learning methods applied in IB courses. Through discussion and experience sharing, teachers’ knowledge and understanding of the IB curriculum was improved. Afterwards, the teachers discussed how to incorporate advanced teaching methods learned from the IB curriculum into the IB, AP, and school course classes to develop students’ skills.
