Puxi Grade 4: Donations to the Rural Broadcasting Station Scheme

The Rural Broadcasting Station Scheme is sponsored and supported by Oriental Broadcasting Station Shanghai. Our fourth-grade students raised and donated 40,000RMB for this scheme and held a donation ceremony on May 5th.

First, Ms. Grace Zhang gave a speech at the ceremony. Then Mr. Xin Li, the host of Oriental Broadcasting Station, told our fourth graders about the challenges faced by rural students and how a rural broadcasting station has changed their lives for the better. Many students had questions and wanted to know more about rural students who are living a very different life from theirs far away from them.

After the ceremony, our students not only donated 40,000RMB to the Rural Broadcasting Station Scheme, but gained a better understanding of how different people live in the world and learned that they should care for and help those less fortunate. Hopefully our help and love will help them achieve a better life.
