High School Math Department: 12th Grade Math Knockout Finals

The first High School Math Knockout at SHSID is about to come to an end.

After multiple rounds of elimination, the final round in 12th grade was held at noon on May 5th in the lobby of the Xian Mian Building. In the end, Alex Li from 12(4) won the championship. The second and third prize were won by the teams led by Ji Yongjin from 12 (2) and Kim Tae Yeon from 12 (1) B, respectively.

The Math Knockout is a large-scale school competition which aims to make more students love mathematics. It is supervised by Teacher Liu Shan and organized by STEM Doge—a student association. All information is published on the official WeChat account “STEM Doge Daily”. To compete in the competition, students enrolled in the form of a team of 3 or less. Almost all students in grades 9-12 were involved.

Thanks to the continued hard work of the members of "STEM Doge", we were able to watch the wonderful competitions. The finals of the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades are about to take place. Who will win the laurel wreath? With our greatest curiosity and excitement, let us wait and see.
