Grade 8: Good News from the Shanghai Darts Competition

The second round of the Shanghai Darts Competition was held on April 20th, and SHSID's teams participated in the middle school category. In the morning, SHSID’s Team 1 and Team 2 met up very early to compete in the Top 16 round. Unfortunately, Team 2 lost. Meanwhile, Team 1 kept winning, finally receiving First Prize in the competition.

In the afternoon’s solo competition, Arthur was placed in the Top 16 of the Boy’s Dart category. In the Girl’s Dart category, after all the team members competed against each other, Kaoru Nishimatsu and Joyce Yu made it into the Top 8. In addition, Elizabeth Jin was placed 4th after the quarterfinals. In the final round, the remaining two players were both from SHSID, so no matter who won, SHSID would still be the ultimate winner. Finally, the competition ended with Vera Xu in second place and Katherine Kang in first place!

A huge congratulations to SHSID’s Darts team for achieving such high results this time and best of luck in future games!
