Grade 6: Swimming Competition

April 26, 2019

In PE class, the 6th graders had a swimming competition. Swimming, not surprisingly, is quite an exhausting sport compared to others. Under so many pairs of eyes, the pressure was on for the competitors.

Splash! As the swimmers dashed by, the swimming pool gurgled, and everyone cheered for the fierce competition.

In the first round, the girls had their 50 meters breast stroke and free style, while other competitors warmed up along the side.

As soon as the first group of swimmers started, they dashed through the pool. Kerry from 6(2) had an outstanding performance, passing all the other competitors without out any hustle or rush. Everyone was shocked and amazed by how fast the swimming team athletes completed their races.

In the second round, Jason from 6(1) and Charlie from 6(8) had a fierce race. They were only a couple meters apart! Some contestants tried to dive to gain speed, while the others were already warming up and ready for the start.

However, the most exciting race in the game belonged to the relay, where four participants from each class took turns swimming 25 meters. Even though some didn’t win, their sportsmanship was something to cherish.

This swimming competition was one of the most thrilling races ever and gave the audience an unforgettable memory.
