Grades 11-12: Talent Show

April 25th: a day that SHSID '19ers will remember forever. With a drumroll, confetti, and limelight, the G11-12 Talent Show began! This was the greatest show for the seniors, for it would be our last show ever at SHSID.

Many class performances revolved around the theme of graduation, which inevitably brought tears to our eyes: 12(9)'s "Those Years (那些年)", 12(8)'s "A Little Happiness(小幸运)", 12(6)'s "See You Again", and 12(7)'s "Ten Years(十年)" to name a few, featured songs which conveyed devotion and gratitude towards our school.

Aside from the nine extraordinary senior class performances, many other gifted individuals brought extravaganzas for our eyes to feast upon. The dancers of “7 Rumors" stunned the audience with their high-spirits and dynamic choreography, along with the following a cappella, beatbox, original pop, house, jazz, and classical music. The musical group brought us "This Is Me," a hit song from "The Greatest Showman," which encouraged us to be our true selves. K-pop and Chinese traditional dances (with a twist) struck us with their uniquely adorable and/or dashing choreographies and costumes. The last song performance, "Never met (不遇见)," by 4 senior girls brought the Talent Show to an end with a nostalgic picture slideshow accompanying the singers' lovely voices. This concluded our high school experience on stage, and months of preparation finally bloomed into a resplendent day that will be remembered.
